Ordering caviar online
How is caviar shipped across Canada?
Caviar and other perishables are shipped using express options in insulated packaging with ice or gel packs.
How quickly will my order arrive?
Orders outside the GTA ship Monday through Thursday by next-day express delivery. We do not ship these orders on Fridays because FedEx and Purolator do not offer weekend delivery and an extended weekend transit is not suitable for chilled caviar. If you need your order for the weekend, it must be confirmed by Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at the latest for Friday delivery. Orders confirmed after that cutoff will ship the following Monday. Courier, weather and peak-season conditions can still affect delivery timing.
How should I store caviar?
Refrigerate it immediately in the coldest part of your refrigerator and follow the best-before information on the tin.
What should I serve with caviar?
Serve it chilled with a non-reactive spoon. Blini, toast points, crème fraîche and simple potatoes let the caviar remain the focus.
What happens if no one is home?
The courier will leave the order behind the front door rather than return it to the depot. Please arrange for someone to accept the package and refrigerate it promptly. Extended exposure to warm weather can deteriorate caviar and other temperature-sensitive foods, and Caviar Centre cannot be responsible for damage when a package is not accepted as scheduled or is left unattended for an extended period.
Can I request same-day delivery in the GTA?
Same-day delivery may be arranged for orders placed before 10:00 a.m. Please request it in the Notes section at checkout or email support@caviarcentre.com after placing your order. Standard GTA orders are normally delivered the following business day, Monday through Friday.
